RMI Workshop Requirement
CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: To maintain warranty validity, all engines must be installed exclusively by a certified 5 Star RMI mechanical workshop.
Warranty coverage will be invalidated if installation is performed by a non-approved facility. Verify your selected workshop's RMI certification status prior to scheduling installation.
30-Day Fitting Period
Every engine purchase includes a mandatory thirty (30) day installation window. During this period, the engine must be professionally installed and successfully started by a certified 5 Star RMI mechanical workshop.
Return Policy
Return requests must be submitted within 7 days following delivery for items that remain unused and in their original packaging condition.
Engines exhibiting defects must be returned within 7 days of purchase date, or customers may coordinate alternative resolution arrangements directly with their assigned sales representative.
Customer Responsibilities
Prior to installation, customers are required to:
- Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle's cooling system before engine installation
- Replace engine oil and filter immediately upon installation completion
- Personally inspect and verify the engine condition in the presence of the sales representative
- Confirm that oil levels have been verified and the engine has been manually rotated during inspection
Warranty Information
Reconditioned Engine Warranty:
Warranty coverage is provided as detailed in the sales documentation. All warranty terms are conditional upon correct installation procedures, appropriate usage, and adherence to recommended maintenance schedules.
Pre-Owned Engine Terms:
Engines are sold in "as is" condition unless alternative terms are explicitly documented. Warranty coverage does not apply unless specifically granted in written form.
CRITICAL NOTICE: Any unauthorized disassembly, modification, or component removal from the engine prior to installation will immediately invalidate all warranty coverage and guarantee provisions.
Shipping & Pricing
Pricing Structure: All quoted prices are denominated in South African Rand (ZAR) unless alternative currency arrangements are explicitly agreed upon.
Shipping & Logistics: Delivery costs are determined according to destination location, package weight, and dimensional specifications. Transportation expenses are the customer's responsibility unless alternative arrangements are documented in the sales agreement.
International Shipping: For orders shipped outside South Africa, customers assume full responsibility for all applicable customs duties, import taxes, and regulatory fees imposed by destination country authorities.
